I found this quite a good book, in that it covers forthcoming technologies such as CANBUS and drive by wire very well and gives a good overview of current electrical technology used in the Automotive sector. It is not intended as "workshop manual style" book to aid in repair or diagnostics of electrical problems but to give the reader a thorough understanding of advanced automotive electrical systems. One criticism is that it is lacking circuit diagrams that students might find useful in understanding certain systems, but this is probably to make the book more readable to all.

the best sea battle games

I had and lost an original copy of this book by Phil Dunn so I knew what I was buying. I have played many different naval wargames rule sets in many periods. I prefer WW2 as a period I really like using playing cards rather than dice for a combat resolution. No one throws dice as badly as me.
As the title suggests the rules cover 1650 to 1945, and I think the fast play Napolionic rules (using dice) are a work of genius. It is a shame the main tactic at the time was to capture not sink the enemy. Sinking Napoleonic ships is however still a possibility. This rule set would be ideal for a participation game, and could handle Trafalger in a Day. The chapter on campaigns has three systems one of which should suit everyone. The new additional sets of rules are interesting, whether or not I would play them really depends on my opponents. My personal preference is for the original rules. I have never found a set of rules which cover torpedo actions which I really like, this book being no exception. Then "Torpedo hits by chance cards" designed for map use(page 138)changed my mind. I don't remember that in the original book, but it would be easy to use this system with ship models.
I know of no better book on the subject than this one.
I am now researching which ships were at Pearl Harbour with slightly modified aircraft rules because the ships were weaker in anti-aircraft fire I think these rules will provide a lot of fun.
I have read reviews where reprinted books have been let down by poor quality paper, fuzzy print and pictures. I would say this book has good paper quality, is easy to read and pictures and drawings are as good as I remember the originals.

When we see a breakdown in form, rarely is it a byproduct of our body’s natural ability to perform such a movement, but mobility (range of motion in the joints) or flexibility (length of the muscles).

This is why WOD Recovery Yoga is so crucial to a functional fitness athletes recovery and overall training. Better mobility and flexibility means better form and improved performance. Stretching is never fun but just like doing snatch drills or muscle up progression work, it’s necessary to get better.

WOD Recovery Yoga provides functional fitness athletes with the ability to take their recovery into their own hands. With 70 yoga postures, all of which are accessible to any age and fitness level, athletes now have a set of stretches useful for their post WOD recovery.

Life saver for mobility!

Straight to the point poses for your everyday life and workouts. I love that you can just look up what you are planning to do before and after and can incorporate the right stretches for it. It takes out the thinking of what needs to be done each time. What I also love the most is the fact that it gives you ideas of stretches you had never thought of would help or had never seen. Highly recommend it for any person that's active!

Love the format

Love the format, you can click on the Crossfit movement, and get the perfect stretch. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars, is the list of stretches available in that format of "movement" is smaller than if you pick a muscle group, that offers far more options of stretches. I just don't know all the muscle groups, so I'm used to picking it based off movement. Regardless, it's a super addition to daily WODS and has helped my mobility and recovery.

Henry Ford's vision extends beyond manufacturing automobiles. He truly wanted to reduce waste to society. "Moving Forward" is Ford's third book discussion his philosophies on business, manufacturing, and society. Many of the current business buzzwords such as lean manufacturing and value stream mapping really stem from Ford's principles. "Moving Forward" discusses these subjects in the clear focused manner of someone who actually made improvements without the added jargon common to the books written by today's armchair consultants. This is a must read for someone looking to make actual improvements in their business. Ford's previous works are also recommended, specifically: "My Life and Work" and "Today and Tomorrow."

Old Solutions to Today's Economic Problems

"Moving Forward [1930]" by Henry Ford completes his business philosophy trilogy, and in combination with "My Life and Work [1922]" and "Today and Tomorrow [1926]" (reprinted as "The Great To-Day and Greater Future" 2006) is a very powerful argument as to the expectations and responsibilities of business and government leaders in the elimination of poverty and want; in essence a "Capitalist Manifesto." Though at some points Ford's economic theory might seem to defy conventional wisdom (while elsewhere it seems as though Mr. Ford engaged the services of an economist to more fully explain his concepts), his ideas are nevertheless worth examining. Such concepts being all the more meaningful, considering that he put them into actual practice not only in the U.S. but in another dozen or so countries where he opened automobile plants in the 1920s. In today's economy where much acerbic debate is centered around the erosion of the middle-class and consumer buying power accentuated by sending jobs overseas, the reader is introduced to Ford's theory of high wages, high productivity, and sufficient leisure time as a means of generating greater prosperity, and for the most part his arguments are compelling (and basically what generated the great socioeconomic advances in the U.S. during the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s). Interspersed within this field of advanced leadership and business DNA are some rather agonizing pages on relocating automobile plants and manufacturing specifications which the reader will just have to slog through. Overall well worth the time to read it, and if nothing else a serious thought provoker.
