No, it doesn't have a complete Pok�dex...yet.

A lot of people give this book negative reviews because it doesn't have a complete Pok�dex, which I totally understand. However, the Pok�mon X and Y handbook didn't have one either when the first edition came out, so this one doesn't either. On a little piece of paper inside the inside front cover of the book, it notified me that there would be a complete version coming March 2015. Why they do this, I don't know. But I don't think it's really worth giving the book negative reviews over.

Pros:
1) Lots of colorful illustrations.
2) Complete list telling where each TM is (I really needed this!)
3) Info on the Battle Maison and the Battle Chatelaine sisters' teams (kind of disappointed the Battle Frontier from Emerald wasn't there, but it is what it is. Maybe it'll be added in a DLC).
4) And a lot of other features that would take too long to explain.

Cons:
1) Obviously no National Pok�dex, but there are many online resources for this (Bulbapedia, Pokemondb, Serebii, etc.)

Overall, a really good buy. And I bought it for less than it said on the back cover, so thanks for that, Amazon!

Good Guide, But It's Missing A Complete Pok�mon Index!

After being disappointed with the last Pok�mon strategy guide I was a little hesitant about picking up the guide for the new Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games, but it turns out I'm actually quite pleased with it. That being said I'm still not 100 percent satisfied with this guide! I just wish that they would had included a full Pok�mon Index instead of just an Pok�mon Native Index to the Hoenn Region. Furthermore, I don't understand why the full Official Index guide comes out so late! It's not released until March 2015, and by that time I would had already completed these games. Now that the Index issue is out of the way lets get into what you'll find in this guide, the pros, and of course the cons.

What's In The Guide:

 Detailed Interview with the Creators of Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.
Hoenn Regional Map
 Detailed walkthrough of the two games that include training, routes, cities, and gyms information.
 Belief Pok�mon Index of the Hoenn Region. This Index shows you the Pok�mon's type, egg group, ability, hidden ability, and main way to obtain them.
 Adventure Data: Gives players information about items in the games, and and their effects.
 And much more that's too much to list here.

Pros:

 Very Detailed Walkthrough with tons of information, and useful tips.
 Detailed maps and images of the games.
 Tips on completing your Index
 Thick book with lots of helpful information.

Cons
 Doesn't offer players a complete Pok�mon Index, and the full Index is released way too late. The missing Complete Index is really the only con, but it's a big one!

Bottom line:

This guide is a nice addition to the two games, but it's missing some critical information about the Index, but at the same time the walkthrough itself is very useful and is filled with other important information. I just wish that Nintendo would release the Pok�mon Index a lot sooner. That all being said this guide is still worth getting if you're a completist and want to find every little thing Pok�mon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has to offer.

5 Star guide!

Definitely a 5 star guide book. I haven't used a guide book in quite some time, but its absolutely required for this game. I tried playing the game without the guide and I missed out on so much (even though I played the original Ruby and Sapphire pretty much to death!), and half of the things I discovered so far are the most fun things about the game. I would absolutely recommend buying this guide, and you will get it much cheaper on Amazon than you will at the store!

This guide has maps, exact trainer locations, exact item locations, even information on hidden items (the ones you find with the item finder)and pretty much everything you would want in a strategy guide. Previously some of the guides were missing the exact item and trainer locations and I didn't like that, I bought the guides to get all of the information, and that is why I pay for them, not to purposely have things left out because the publisher was lazy!

I noticed this guide book is made by The Pokemon Company which is a very good thing, since that means its an offical Nintendo Published/endorsed guide. Previously the guides were made by Nintendo power, but then Nintendo Power stopped publication of guides and the magazine, so then the guides were made by Prima. I felt that the prima guides were very poor quality and left out a lot of info that should have been there (I was better off playing the games without the guides). I will never buy a Prima guide, again, I don't know how they are still around.

About the Author

Mitch Abrams, PsyD, is a clinician administrator for University Correctional HealthCare/UMDNJ, where he is responsible for the delivery of mental health services for 6 of the state’s 13 state prisons. Dr. Abrams co-coordinates the forensic track of UMDNJ’s predoctoral psychology internship and has been involved with several aspects of advancing the quality of mental health services in prison systems. He is a clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and has held adjunct faculty positions at Brooklyn College, C.W. Post, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Since 2000, he has been in private practice providing sport, clinical, and forensic psychology services.

Dr. Abrams began consulting with athletes in 1997 while developing the only comprehensive anger management program for athletes. He has created a niche in using anger management training to assist athletes in reaching peak performance on the field and in life. He has consulted with thousands of athletes and has developed programs for athletic organizations at the youth sport, high school, and college levels. He is the founder and president of Learned Excellence for Athletes, a sport psychology consulting company located in Fords, New Jersey.

Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Abrams received a bachelor of science degree from Brooklyn College and earned a master of science degree in applied psychology and a doctorate of psychology (PsyD) in clinical psychology from C.W. Post/Long Island University. He also received specialized training in family violence and anger management. He is a full member of the American Psychological Association as well as its Division 47 (Exercise and Sport Psychology) and Division 41 (American Psychology-Law Society). Further, he holds membership in the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), where he is also the chair of the Anger and Violence in Sport Special Interest Group (SIG), and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).

A beautiful coffee-table book with text, it displays and briefly explains the outward meaning of the symbols of the Craft. Translated from French, it gives a view of the universality of Freemasonry and at the same time, its variety. Inasmuch as it reflects both the diversity of the Craft and its universality, it is a reminder of what our Founding Fathers meant when they coined the motto E pluribus unum for The Great Seal of the United State.

This is a good book for Freemasons in the English-speaking world inasmuch as for intelligent and attentive members of the Craft, it suggests the subtle differences that exist between the French and the Americans.

Beautifully illustrated, this book is extremely well done.

I would recommend this book to anyone belonging to or interested in the Masonic fraternity. It becomes more interesting in that it is a translation of work originally written by a French Mason and therefore portions are unfamiliar to those of us familiar with Freemasonry in the U.S. Again the illustrations are splendid and would be worthy without the text. The thoughtful description of the Fraternity only adds to the value of this most intersting explanation of Masonic allegory and symbology.

I found this novel enlightening. Somewhat based on factual events, I learned about the history of New Brunswick, Canada, a place I visited a few years ago. The characters are fresh and original and the contemporary story weaves nicely with the historical story. I enjoyed the read very much and easily recommend this book.

It is amazing to have such a large book but at times it may be a hassle to take but I feel the size is needed to express the beautiful pictures that are in the book. The book is well written so that it does not overwhelm the reader with hard scientific words but it goes into great detail to describe each subject. It is also well organized so it does not just through random information when you reach a new subject of the book, as each subject eases into the next. Anyone who enjoys the subject of space should consider buying this book because it is a joy to read.
