About the Author
Since 1983, Tom Glatch has contributed hundreds of stories and photographs to major collector, Corvette, Mustang, muscle car, and Mopar magazines. Tom grew up during the muscle car era, and his first car was a very quick 1970 Plymouth Duster 340. Tom and his wife Kelly have contributed photographs to books by other Motorbooks authors, as well as Motorbooks' Corvette calendars. When not pursuing old muscle cars, Tom works for a Fortune 500 corporation as a data and systems analyst and developer. He lives in southeastern Wisconsin with his wife and two children, daughter Keara and son Sean.
David Newhardt is one of the best automobile photographers working today and has provided photography for best-selling Motorbooks titles Muscle: America's Legendary Performance Cars, Corvette: Fifty Years, Mustang: Forty Years, Mopar Muscle: Fifty Years, and Shelby Mustang: Racer for the Street.

I have to be honest I have not gone past the Royal Pontiac section near the front. I am bias because my black 1968 Firebird graces two pages near the beginning. While the Jim Wangers Judge on the following pages I took care of for over 17 years while it was here in Detroit. The shadow in the Judge as it sits under the Woodward turn a round sign is me. Dave Newhardt takes some great pictures.
I do like the cleaver cover with the hoods of both the Camaro and Shelby Mustang being able to peck under the hoods. Just have to be careful not to catch either hood when taking the book off the shelve on putting it back on the shelve.

nice book of regurgitated pics and information

nice book of regurgitated pics and information, would have liked to see more of the Dealers involved from Ford and Chrysler. missed so many was sad to recommend to a friend. Nothing on Twister or other special cars and nothing on Dealer sold Hot Cars like the Beasly Ford Torinos. the biggest let down was no info on dealer Drag programs like Lincoln Mercury into the 70's. it didn't just end in 69, so why not go into the programs and literature of how insurance, Safety, Oil prices and NHRA changed the Musclecar to what we have today. in other words they still made cars through the 70's and 80's 90's 2000 and so on.
